HT3112 is a fully integrated motor driver control IC that integrates a lithium battery charging management module, motor driver module, motor freewheeling diodes, key gear control and multi-protection modules. Its standby current is only 5μA.

The chip delivers a maximum output current of 2.0A. For applications requiring higher current beyond 2.0 A, an external PMOS transistor can be added to expand the driving capability.

When the MODE terminal is connected to BAT, it operates in 3-stage mode; pressing the button will switch between these stages via the sequence: 50% –75%–100%–OFF; when the MODE terminal is grounded, it operates in 1-stage mode; in this mode, pressing the button starts the device, and pressing  the button again shuts it down.
